Adopt a Black Labrador Retriever / American Bulldog / Mixed (medium coat)

Meet Bubba.  This sweet guy arrived at an overcrowded shelter where the staff noticed he was having an issue with his arm.  He had somehow sustained damage to his front leg and suffered irreparable nerve damage to it.  The leg was amputated and he was fast to get back on his feet and his life.  Sadly, he has had no interest from anyone looking for a great dog who just happens to be a tripod now.  He was in a foster home under the shelter's care  for multiple weeks while he recovered and was great in the home, with their other dogs and with the people coming and going in their home. Now, that he's recovered though, he landed back in an outdoor kennel at the shelter and needs to find a forever home or foster in order to leave shelter life behind. 

When his foster family had them, they reported  "He’s somewhere in the middle in terms of high and low energy.  When I move from room to room, he follows me but as soon as I? stop and sit he will lie down next to me or on my lap. Definitely wants to be a family pet.  He stays very busy chewing on those hard white bones. He free roams the house while we’re home cuz he asks to go outside when he has to potty.  Such a great loving dog.  Fantastic with other dogs and people.  No cats for me please"
